In a clear sign that Propertyology’s unique offering for property investors is gaining significant recognition, Queensland real estate history was created when Propertyology became the first non-sales agency to ever win the 2016 REIQ Awards For Excellence “Small Residential Agency Of The Year”.
Propertyology Managing Director, Simon Pressley, heaped credit for their win as Queensland’s best real estate business on a unique point of difference.
“Our aim is to bring a higher level of skill and sophistication to the decision-making process for mum-and-dad investors looking to progressively acquire wealth through residential property. It’s the result of dogged determination to develop a business model which breaks new ground in the real estate industry”.
With an emphasis on economic indicators and a series of other key supply and demand metrics, Propertyology believes that they have developed the single most comprehensive research platform in the country.
The business model consists of a collaborative approach of investment advisory, buyer’s agency, market research, and mortgage broking.
While Propertyology’s office is in Brisbane, they hold real estate licenses in four states in order to buy in strategically-chosen locations throughout Australia.
“There’s literally no other business in the country which can honestly lay claim to studying the property markets of every location in Australia and then use that forensic-level research to pin point locations for property investors. To use an analogy, each of the markets of the 550 local government authorities across Australia represent the equivalent of our stock exchange,” Pressley said.
It was a big night for Propertyology with young-gun, Bryan Loughnan, also being a finalist in the hotly contested Buyer’s Agent category. With a rare perspective of property markets acquired from a variety of roles over a career spanning 15 years, Loughnan joined the Propertyology team two years ago and has embraced his role as the Company’s senior buyer’s agent.
Held at the gala Brisbane City Hall on Saturday evening, the black tie affair was attended by all Propertyology team members and their partners.
Australian actor and comedian, Shane Jacobson, was a very popular MC.
“It was great for us to all get dressed up and enjoy each other’s company at such a spectacular venue. It was the perfect way for us to celebrate the results of our hard work”, Pressley said. “We are on a mission to revolutionise how people invest in Australian real estate”.
When accepting the award on behalf of the company, Pressley concluded his speech by crediting the award to Propertyology’s valued clients. “We think differently and we have different views to others. We will always do that because our client’s bestinterests is our number one priority. This award will mean as much to our clients as it does to us”.
