Simon Pressley

Head of Property Market Research

“If it’s worth doing, do it well!” – this motto sums Simon up to a tee.

Simon is passionate about helping everyday Australians to build a more sustainable lifestyle through making astute property investment decisions. He (unapologetically) is renowned for challenging conventional wisdom to help people have a smoother journey to a better destination.

In 2015, Simon was recognised for his three consecutive awards as Australian (REIA) Buyer’s Agent Of The Year, and inducted in to Australian Real Estate Hall Of Fame.

As Managing Director of Propertyology, Simon provides strategic direction for this dynamic business. He has a very clear vision to develop Propertyology in to Australia’s premier property investment services business.

Simon’s primary daily role is to leave no stone unturned as the head of Propertyology’s market research area. A strong lateral thinker and a thought leader, Simon spends several hours every day studying the property economics of towns and cities all over Australia.

His strong and passionate opinions are often featured in the media. Simon is a regular guest on prominent property television programs ‘Your Money Your Call’ and ‘Sky News Real Estate’, a regular contributor for ‘Australian Property Investor’ magazine and for a variety of other publications.

In addition to being a full-time student of Australian property markets, Simon is a (tertiary-qualified) property investment advisor, a graduate of Australian Institute of Company Directors, has separate diplomas in financial planning and mortgage broking, and is a Commissioner for Declarations.

Qualities which Simon values highly include integrity, professionalism, transparency, accountability, work ethic, loyalty, and healthy living. In addition to property economics, Simon is passionate about the Brisbane Lions AFL.
